All information contained within our site, regarding tariff, hotel information and other matter concerning business practices and pricing policies of Saltours International Ltd, is confidential and extended to clients only.

All rates are commissionable, and inclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax). Breakfast, if included, will be mentioned in the booking.

Your can make reservation via our website or by Fax, E-Mail.

General Information

Any rates for services not listed in this tariff are available on request.

Responsibility and Liability

Saltours is not responsible, nor liable, for any damage, loss or injury caused to any passenger by any of Saltours suppliers. Any additional expenses incurred by the passenger(s) as a result of overbooking of any of Saltours supplier are the sole responsibility of the passenger(s).

Nonetheless, Saltours will do it's utmost to re-protect the clients.

Saltours does not operate, nor own or control any means of transportation. Therefore, Saltours cannot assume any liability in case of injury, loss, damage, delay or accident.

Theatre Tickets, National Parks, Resorts and non-contracted Hotel Reservations:

Saltours will be pleased to handle any reservations for Theatre Tickets, National Parks, Resorts or Hotels not listed in this Confidential Tariff. However, due to stringent payment and reservation procedures in effect, we are compelled to impose the following conditions:

  • Once confirmed by Saltours, these reservations must be guaranteed with a reconfirmation from the booking agent within 48 hours to avoid a processing fee.

    Once confirmed:

  • If cancellation occurs up to 1 month prior to the arrival date - a £10 service charge per property cancelled plus whatever penalties are imposed by the respective hotel/supplier is in effect.
  • If cancellation occurs less than 1 month prior to the arrival date - a minimum of 1 night cancellation and service fee of £10 per hotel will be assessed.


    Amendments:

  • Up to 1 month prior to arrival, each property is subject to a £10 service fee. No changes are permitted less than 1 month prior to arrival date.
  • National Parks reservations can only be accepted in conjunction with a reservation of at least 2 nights at a regular tariff hotel.
  • Rates for National Park hotels and for hotels not listed in our tariff (non-contracted Hotels) may exceed prevailing rack rates due to service charges levied to cover expenses incurred. We are unable to process any refund requests for cases where the rate exceed the rack rate or where client cancelled directly.
  • No refunds will be processed/accepted for any unused services in non-tariff hotels.
  • Above conditions only apply for reservations at National Parks, Resorts, as well as Non-Contracted Hotels which are not listed in our tariff.

Payment Procedures

All reservations are subject to pre-payment in full prior to the client's arrival date unless other credit terms have been established and approved by Saltours.

Company Checks, Bank Drafts, Wire Transfers, Certified Checks, Money Orders and Travelers Checks are accepted as a form of payment. All foreign checks must be issued in GBP (Sterling) and must be drawn on a UK Bank.

Checks drawn on a foreign bank are subject to substantial fees which Saltours will be compelled to charge back to the agency.

Cancellations

Exact policies, as per wholesale contract, are printed automatically on every invoice. Please review them carefully before confirming. Once a reservation is confirmed all cancellation penalties apply.

Reservation Changes

Once a reservation has been confirmed by Saltours, we will be assessing a £10.00 service charge for each hotel/service change.

Early Check-Out

Hotels reserve the right to impose a service charge for early check out. All charges will be passed on to your client.

Late Reservations

Reservations received less than 10 business days prior to arrival may entail express mail charges if a hotel booked requires immediate pre-payment

Refunds

Any claims for refunds must be submitted to Saltours in writing within 14 days of completion of travel. Documented evidence to sustain a claim must be forwarded to Saltours along with your refund request.
Saltours will not accept any refund request if a client cancelled a hotel/service directly and failed to obtain the following information:

  • Cancellation number
  • Date of Cancellation
  • Name of Hotel contact

A service fee of £10.00 per hotel/service cancelled will be assessed even if above information is furnished

Block-Out Periods

During conventions, special events and/or holiday periods, the rates published in our tariff may not apply. We will notify you at the time of booking.

Validity of Rates

Rates as shown in our Tariff are valid as of date of issue (January 1, 2000) and are subject to change due to changes in hotel tariffs, government taxes, etc. Reservations made within the contracted cut off date or when Saltour's room blocks are full may be confirmed at a higher rate.

Modifications of these Terms and Conditions

Saltours reserves the right to change modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without any prior notice.
Users are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions.
Continued use of this Web site following any such changes shall constitute the user's acceptance of such changes.
